Maybe, it’s me. It’s my fault and not Garnier’s Skin Naturals Visible Rejuvenation 55+ Night Cream.
But, … I just don’t get it.
“Something is rotten in the state of Denmark” and when I say “Denmark” think each and every jar of this skin cream. “Ooooh that smell! Can’t you smell that smell?”
Now, I’m not trying to be “that” sixty-two year old Black woman mixing her Shakespeare with her Lynyrd Skynyrd. And, yes, I’ve heard Sweet Home Alabama …. but, did you know that the backup studio singer on that track is African American?
People …. forget Skynyrd! What’s with that smell?
I’m currently serving twenty-seven months in the Peace Corps. The summers here are hot! A few months ago, I traveled to the capital looking for a moisturizer, for my ever drying skin.
According to the packing (in Russian) this product is all about firming and lifting, hydration, wrinkles and lines. I love all of that, all that flora plant cells and rice peptides goodness. And, hydration, I need hydration! I simply can’t put this product anywhere near my face. “Gag me with a spoon!”
The good news is my hands are also dry, along with my heels. So, that’s that. I’m going to use this face cream on my hands and feet. I can’t help it. There’s no maybe about it. It’s not them! It’s me! –kj
