Yes, Skyline Chili, two days in a row. I’m in a post Peace Corps food rut. Today, Skyline was followed up with pizza. Pizza will be repeated tomorrow. Americans eat all the time. My body is used to skipping breakfast and eating after school, around 2:00 or 3:00 pm. Then, having dinner, at 8:00 pm.

Now, my life is filled with the American idea of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are also snacks! I’m eating too much food, way too much food.

Speaking of food, in preparation for Ethiopia, I went shopping today for a cast iron pan. I looked all over Armenia for one of these and couldn’t find one. Now, part of me can’t wait to get back into my “next” Peace Corps eating routine.

My bags are packed, again. I’m heading to the airport, in the morning. One week down and three more to go, until Ethiopia.
