The first three miles (uphill) sets the tone for crossing the French Pyrenees mountain range. It’s 14k uphill and then 14k downhill.

At a certain point, I couldn’t wait for the next rock, to sit down on, and just stopped and dropped.

The walk is hard, but really amazing! I’m soooooo slow! People cheer for me, when I finally make it to the hostel.

Tomorrow, I’ll walk to Pamplona. It’s my first rest day and I’ve booked two nights. It’s given me a push to keep going! At some point, my body will stop aching.
I just need to slow down my pace. Walking more than 20k (12.5 miles) a day is cra cra! I’ll shorten my days, after Pamplona! XOXO— GGT
