Today, I made it as far as my Hub Town. My permanent Peace Corps site is about an hour away from here.

I’m staying overnight, with another volunteer. She couldn’t get all the way to her site.

I’m ex-military, so I was not about to leave her behind.

And, opening up a bank account and getting a post office box was a full morning. Best to chill and start out fresh in the morning.

We grabbed lunch at a nearby hotel. Pizza just isn’t my think here. Maybe, it was that big burrito bowl, last night in Addis Ababa. Maybe, my taste is changing.

Either way, this two year adventure has started. –GGT
