Felt a little dizzy after teaching, on Friday. I went home and took a two hour nap, at 3:00 p.m. Then, I contacted Peace Corps Ethiopia, to ask for a personal day.

In Peace Corps Armenia, we were allowed to leave our sites, every Friday, at 2:00 p.m. There was nothing that I couldn’t hold in, from 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, until 2:00 p.m. Friday.

Ethiopia is different. And although there is now a door, on the outhouse, at my site, that took three months. I always seem to know when my body has had it. I needed a break a western toilet, and meat! Happy to be in Addis Ababa.

The hotel also has a spa! Now, I just need to find a spot for a quick pedicure. Trust me, no one wants to see my feet, after six months of Peace Corps service and I need a massage like yesterday. –GGT
